Iman Vellani is a Canadian actress of Pakistani origin, well-known for portraying Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel), the protagonist of the Disney+ miniseries Ms. Marvel in 2022 and is set to reprise the role in the Marvel Studios film The Marvels in 2023. Villani graduated from Unionville High School in Markham, Ontario, and was selected as a member of the TIFF Next Wave Committee at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival.
