She is the author of four books: Adventures in Morocco, Walking with Nomads, Dodging Elephants and Morocco to Timbuktu. She has crossed the whole of Morocco on foot with six camels and three Amazigh guides. She speaks fluent Arabic and is learning Tachelhit. She is the first woman to walk the Draa River.
