Besides his own books, Peter Newell illustrated Mark Twain's "Innocents Abroad" and Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking-Glass". He is the author of the Classics "The Hole Book", "The Slant Book", and "The Rocket Book".
