My Awesome Summer by P. Mantis was honored by the American Association for the Advancement of Science for Excellence in ScienceBooks, and The Schmutzy Family, written by Marilyn Rosenberg and illustrated by Paul Meisel, was a National Jewish Book Award Finalist.
