*Cave, Nick: - Nick Cave, the Australian-born lead singer of The Birthday Party, The Bad Seeds and Grinderman, has been performing music for more than 30 years and is recognized as one of the most gifted songwriters and performers of our time. He is the author of And the Ass Saw the Angel *, his first novel, and a collection of his lyrics, King Ink. In addition to writing the screenplay and music for the film The Proposition, Cave has composed soundtracks for The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford and The Road, among others. He lives in Brighton, England.
