ChickenCoopGuides.com is one of the most popular sites on the Internet for anything chicken related because of its practical, easy-to-follow advice and chicken coop plans. * Since we're city people we can't have chickens where we live. We're 'part-timers' at my mother-in-law's farm out in the country every weekend. That's why I'm so glad I had the chance to preview this book on chicken illnesses and diseases. I don't feel like I'm there often enough to be an expert and this makes me feel like one. I've got a 24 hour live chicken cam that we watch sometimes (dreaming of our retirement where we can see them every day) and we've been able to use that to get to know the chickens better. Earlier this week I was able to spot a hen acting funny and based on this I suspected it was a cold and it was.
