Frank Gehry (1929-2025) was a world-renowned and Pritzker Prize-winning architect, whose constructions shaped their surrounding urban landscapes. The quintessential "starchitect," he was named "the most important architect of our age" by Vanity Fair. His iconic designs and irreverent buildings, often incorporating swooping walls made of aluminum, titanium, or stainless steel, are world-renowned attractions. Jean-Louis Cohen (1949-2023) was an acclaimed historian, critic, and curator of architecture and urban design. He curated numerous exhibitions at major museums, and is the author of more than forty books including Paris Moderne: 1914-1945, and a first volume of the catalogue raisonné of Frank Gehry's drawings (Cahiers d'Art, 2020).
