I have the unenviable task of telling you what you don't want to hear: namely, that, regardless of how fit and healthy you are, regardless of whether you've received a Covid shot or not, and regardless of how much you believe you "beat" Covid - you may be done with Covid, but Covid's not done with* you *.

This book is my harrowing story of how I learned this to be the case - how I learned what Covid is, and why the clandestine, virtually undetectable (for now) long-term effects of Covid are the real menace of Covid. I learned the hard way, 20 months and counting of the most grueling and near-death case of Long Covid you can imagine - and, in retrospect, see oh so much shoulda-coulda-woulda. Don't be like me.
