Mainly the activities along the way are search and find LEGO made Minecraft scenes where you need to find various things in the image, but there are other activities such as spot the difference, mazes and a couple of sticker scenes using the double page of stickers provided in the book. There are also a couple of places where the book suggests you grab your own bricks to build something for Steve if you wanted to (the minifigure of Steve with his trusty iron sword is included which is good).

Overall, it is nice and glossy and should keep a child happy for a while. I think there is a mistake in the first search and find with the third cookie not being there (answers at the book suggest it should be in a particular place but I can’t see it) so I couldn’t give it full stars.
