This book aims to analyze the regional interaction between the European Union and two actors from Latin American area: Mercosur and Brazil as a new emerging power, a regional giant. The analysis attempts to identify the particularities and general aspects of interregionalism, as well as a brief overview of the integration process in the two regions. The research is based on both interregional and bilateral dynamics within the EU-Mercosur-Brazil power triangle, while also considering the interests and reactions of United States of America. The idea that the experience of European integration should be replicated in other regions of the world. This replication should align with regional and national realities, but taking into consideration the foundational principles of the European Union, as these have proven to be effective. The EU appears to be a successful model that continues to function effectively. Furthermore, integration processes are conducted within the framework of regional and local specificities.
